Having good descriptions of characters is a great way to enhance the writing abilities of your students. In this video we explore how to look at, or imagine, a character’s appearance, and then form accurate and interesting descriptions. This will help to engage a reader, and form vivid images of those characters in their minds. Challenge your students to take their descriptions a step further, and write about personality as well as appearance.
